I’m motivated by the opportunity to lead in a way that lifts others, encourages creative thinking, and inspires people to approach challenges with curiosity and confidence. I’m driven to create environments where teams feel supported to innovate and stretch beyond the obvious. Being a strong role model for my daughters and the people I work with shapes how I show up as a leader, grounding my decisions in integrity, learning, and long-term impact. What drives me in my career is the chance to leave a positive legacy built on shared growth, meaningful relationships, and the lessons I’ve gathered along the way.

What being a Lead Her member means to you:
Being a Lead Her member is impactful, and I would consider it a great opportunity to champion women in mining and resources. Mentoring women to recognise their strengths, back themselves, and pursue opportunities with confidence is a core driver for me. I’m committed to representing the industry with authenticity and showing what’s possible through visible, values-based leadership. As a mother of a daughter who is a Heavy Diesel fitter, who is a 3rd generation miner, and having spent 8 years in Kalgoorlie in all areas of the mining and resources industry, I understand the challenges but have also seen the incredible stories of sheer grit and impressive capabilities of women across all sectors. Empowering and encouraging women to believe in their capability, challenge barriers, and thrive in their careers is both a privilege and an important responsibility, knowing it strengthens our sector and the generations who follow.

Advice you’d give to women entering the industry:
Weigh up the options and do your research, find something you enjoy and be prepared for the work. It's also ok to change your mind and move into a different direction. Get to know your strengths and weaknesses and build on both, and be aware of the impact your choice has on your family and friends going into the industry.
