Resourceful Women February Newsletter

Sienna Tamati • February 11, 2026

2026 is already off to a strong start at Resourceful Women and we’re excited about what’s ahead as we continue building connections, sharing opportunities and supporting women across the mining and resources industry.

If you’re new here, welcome. Resourceful Women exists to create genuine connections, amplify experience and support women at every stage of their career, whether you’re just starting out, transitioning into mining or looking to grow and lead.

Lead Her Members Now Featured on Our Website

We’re proud to announce that our Lead Her Members are now featured on the Resourceful Women website.

Our Lead Her Members are experienced professionals who are helping shape the mining and resources industry across a wide range of roles, disciplines and career paths. We’re honoured to showcase their skills, stories and expertise and to make these connections visible to the wider community.

This is an important step in highlighting the depth of talent within our network and creating meaningful pathways for mentorship, guidance and opportunity.

Out and About in the Industry

RIU Conference, Fremantle
Next week we’ll be attending the
RIU Conference for 3 consecutive days in Fremantle, one of Australia’s leading resources investment conferences. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explorers and decision-makers and we’re excited to represent Resourceful Women in this space.

The FIFO Family Project Book Launch
We’re also looking forward to attending the
The FIFO Family Project “What Every Kid Needs To Know About FIFO – A–Z Edition” book launch on the 21st of February. Supporting families and conversations around FIFO life is something we’re deeply passionate about and we’re proud to be part of this important event. You can find Tickets Here for the book launch.

Building Strong Partnerships

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do and we’re excited to share some recent partnerships and memberships.

AUSMASA
Resourceful Women has officially joined AUSMASA as members. AUSMASA plays a key role in representing and supporting professionals across the mining and resources sector and we’re excited to collaborate, connect and continue strengthening our industry presence. See our
Member Spotlight Media Release

RugbyWA
THE resources HUB, alongside Resourceful Women, has become a partner of Women in Rugby through RugbyWA. As a rugby-oriented family, this partnership is a real passion project for us. We’re excited to support the rugby community, connect with others who share the same passion and help players secure work during the off-season while expanding the Resourceful Women network.

CEOs for Gender Equity
We’re also proud to be partnering with CEOs for Gender Equity, a movement that strongly aligns with everything Resourceful Women stands for. Being in rooms with CEOs who are actively driving change and advocating for gender equity across industries is incredibly powerful. We’re grateful to the CEOs for Gender Equity team for the opportunity to be part of this important movement.
